People’s Grocery is a vibrant local food cooperative owned by hundreds of people within our community.
In 1975, we established the co-op to fulfill a need in our area for fresh, local food. Today, we still hold true to our original vision while adapting to the growing and shifting needs of our community.
Together we are supporting the well being of our families and friends, investing in our local and natural food producers, and stimulating our local economy.

What we Do
We supply our owners and other shoppers with locally produced goods and offer a large variety of options for those with food allergies and/or specific nutritional needs.
We offer a variety of grocery and bulk food items, as well as supplements and HBA products. We maintain direct relationships with local farmers who provide us with the fruits, veggies, meat, eggs, dairy, and honey that you find in our store.
Additionally, we host educational classes and community events throughout the year. These classes are intended to increase our awareness and make informed choices individually and as a community.
