Wichman Farms provides us with a multitude of produce and herbs. They regularly supply us with spinach, chard, Winter onions, Candy onions, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, dill and other herbs.

On our land of approximately 2,000 acres we grow a large variety of crops. We produce vegetables and fruits that are sold at the co-op. We have also grown crops such as milo, corn, and soybeans.

On our land we grow a large variety of crops including:

- Candy onions
- Dill and other herbs
- Green beans
- Sweet potatoes
- Pop corn
- Sweet corn
- Black berries
Which, if any, organic certification does your farm have? If none, do you use organic or conventional practices?
Yes, organic practices
Which sprays do you use on which crops, and how often do you use them?
We do not use sprays on our vegetable and fruit crops.
What are your tillage practices? (how many times a year, what kind)
We use a tiller.
Tell us a little about your crop rotation. Do you use cover crops?
We do not use cover crops. We always rotate and never plant a crop in the same place as last season.
What is your fertilizer source and type?
We use compost as our sole source of fertilizer.
What are your soil conservation practices (mulching, erosion control, etc.)?
We use mulching as our source of conservation.

We do not use sprays on our crops
What vision do you have for the future of your farm and/or the future of food?
Our vision is to continue on in our farming practices that have worked for us for years.
